Exciting news: Confab will be hybrid in 2023! That means you can choose to join us either in person (Minneapolis, MN) or virtually (online). No matter what, we can’t wait to see you at Confab in 2023, happening April 30-May 3.

Registration details

How can I pay for Confab?

By credit card: We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

By PO: During the registration process, select “PO” under payment options. You will receive a link to your invoice once registration is complete. Submit this invoice to your purchasing department to create a PO.

By payment plan: This year, you can pay for your Confab ticket in four equal installments by credit card, check, or wire transfer. During the registration process, select “Payment plan” under payment options. We’ll be in touch via email with easy-to-follow instructions.

By check: During the registration process, select “check” under payment options. You will receive a link to your invoice once registration is complete, which will include mailing information and payment instructions.

By wire transfer: During the registration process, select “wire transfer” under payment options. You will receive a link to your invoice once registration is complete, which will include bank information and payment instructions.

Can my team register for Confab as a group?

Yes. During the registration process, you’ll have the option to add additional attendees. For groups of three or more, enter code GROUP100 (for each person during the registration process) to get $100 off for each attendee.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes. Qualifying attendees may use the associated code for $100 off each live or virtual event ticket* price. (Please note that discount codes cannot be combined.)

  • Groups of three or more: GROUP100
  • Higher ed employees: HIGHERED100
  • Nonprofit employees: NONPROFIT100
  • Government employees: GOV100

Students and freelancers also qualify for discounted pricing on virtual event tickets and recordings-only purchases. (There are no additional discounts for the live event in 2023.) Please contact us for more information.

Can I just buy the recordings?

Yes, you can purchase access to the main conference (May 2–3) talk recordings. You’ll have access to the recordings and downloadable slides through April 2024. Recordings DO NOT INCLUDE April 30 or May 1 workshops, social events, virtual watch parties, or online small-group sessions.

Can I cancel my event registration if I can’t attend?

Yes, if you cancel your in-person or virtual ticket by:

  • December 30, 2022 (5:00 p.m. CST), you will receive a 75% refund of total fees.
  • January 31, 2023 (5:00 p.m. CST), you will receive a 50% refund of total fees.
  • February 28, 2023 (5:00 p.m. CST), you will receive a 25% refund of total fees.

No refunds are available after February 28, 2023. We do not offer refunds on recordings-only purchases. Review our full terms and conditions.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. The deadline to transfer your ticket is 5:00 p.m. CST on March 31, 2023. Contact us to complete a transfer. Review our full terms and conditions.
