Product content design from start to finish

Content is at the heart of the user experience for almost any software or application you use. But working as a content designer on a UX team is about more than just writing buttons and labels.

In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience with a real (fake) project to learn about the processes and tools we use in our day-to-day work.

  • See how we collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to build experiences for our users
  • Get strategies for developing foundational resources like voice and tone and UX writing guidelines
  • Learn about deliverables and common tasks at each stage of the project, from planning and exploration, through launch
  • Try out the tools we use with real working files and documents (bring your laptop!)

By the end of this session, you should have a solid understanding of what content design is and how it fits into the UX process (and hopefully have some fun along the way).

Who should attend: This session is suited for anyone who’s interested in working on content for apps and interfaces. Some baseline experience with design and collaboration tools is recommended.
