Workflow and governance: Assessing your organization’s strengths and weaknesses

We take our cars in for an annual service. We take ourselves in for an annual health-check. But what about a periodic health-check of our approach to content strategy? We might test and measure our content itself, but we should also test and measure our practices and processes in adopting a strategic approach to content management.

In this session, we’ll work through how to design and implement a framework for a holistic health-check of your organization’s approach to content strategy, and how to ensure that you’re not putting a Band-Aid on one thing, when really a transplant is required.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Design a scoring system around 10 pillars of content strategy success.
  • Define how to review people, processes, and performance within an organization.
  • Benchmark performance over time.
  • Use this approach to identify and fix causes instead of symptoms.

Who should attend: This session will be beneficial for those who lead or take a leading role in advancing content strategy within their organization. This will be an opportunity to apply a structured way of thinking to uncover their problems (and the successes) by looking at the bigger picture of workflow and governance.
